Life Story:
I was raised by great parents with an amazing sister in “America’s Hometown” of Madison, Indiana. Shortly after graduating with a BA in Journalism from the University of Kentucky, I spent a few years living in Atlanta, then a few more living in South Florida before settling in the Birmingham area in 2002.
Whether through freelance writing, community event planning, nonprofit leadership development, account services for creative teams, or scrum master for development teams – all of my experience has the common thread of pulling together disparate details to help everyone work efficiently to hit the goal. And while I love it when a plan comes together, I’m most proud of my two sons, Robby and Alex. Awww… Mom stuff.

- I’ve lived in 3 different Jefferson Counties – born in Jefferson County, Kentucky then raised in Jefferson County, Indiana and currently live in Jefferson County, Alabama.
- If money were no object, I’d travel the world setting up 3D printed housing communities in places lacking adequate shelter.
- I have a cat that fetches and a dog that couldn’t fetch if his life depended on it.
