Building Custom Software
To Make Your Business Better

Everyday at KEYSYS we build custom software to help business leaders get the important stuff done.

This is part 1 of a 10 week series during which we’ll highlight a set of problems, people and technologies as they relate to our Client Challenge Areas.

In our experience the kinds of problems that we solve can almost always be related to one of these key challenge areas our clients face in their businesses: Data / Innovation / Growth / Security

Worldwide tournament management platform hires KEYSYS to enhance consumer offerings

CLIENT:

After establishing themselves as the leading force in one of the world’s fastest growing sports, PickleballTournaments.com needed to maintain and extend their industry leadership on a global scale. They came to KEYSYS in need of finding a technology partner that could enhance, and support their existing tournament management platform.

PROBLEM:

The PickleballTournaments.com tournament management platform handles thousands of users each day as they create, register, and operate Pickleball tournaments.

(FYI in case you didn’t know. Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net.)

The existing PickleballTournaments.com platform was originally built in Perl, a dynamic programming language. After years of updates and hundreds of thousands of users it needed to be modernized to include a mobile responsive framework and User Experience improvements to better serve the Pickleball playing community.
